Identify the Quality of the Ultrasonic Vibrator:


The impedance analyzer can be used to evaluate the performance of various devices such as piezoelectric ceramic sheets, piezoelectric transducers, and entire vibration systems (transducers plus horns, molds). The ultrasonic device is analyzed by an impedance analyzer, and the ultrasonic vibrator can be distinguished. The most important parameters are as follows:

1. Fs: The mechanical resonant frequency, ie the operating frequency of the vibration system, should be as close to the expected value as possible in the design and must match the power supply operating point. The higher the resonance frequency consistency of the ultrasonic vibrator, the better.

2.R1: Dynamic resistance, the resistance of the series branch of the piezoelectric ultrasonic vibrator is as small as possible under the same supporting conditions. For cleaning ultrasonic vibrators, it is generally between 5 Ω and 20 Ω. If it is too large, the ultrasonic vibrator or vibration system may have problems, such as circuit mismatch or low conversion efficiency, and short life of the ultrasonic vibrator.

3.Qm: mechanical quality factor, determined by the conductance curve method, Qm=Fs/(F2-F1). For ultrasonic cleaning ultrasonic vibrator, the higher the Qm value, the better. Generally speaking, the Qm of the ultrasonic vibrator should be cleaned. Between 500 and 1000, if it is too low, the ultrasonic vibrator is inefficient. If it is too high, the power supply cannot be matched.

4. Fp: anti-resonance frequency, the resonant frequency of the parallel branch of the piezoelectric ultrasonic vibrator. At this frequency, the impedance Zmax of the piezoelectric ultrasonic vibrator is the largest. If the anti-resonant impedance Zmax is low, the ultrasonic vibrator has a problem.



Note: 


The ultrasonic vibrator should be placed in a dry place to prevent the ultrasonic vibrator from getting wet and affect normal work. Ultrasonic vibrators are generally made of titanium alloy.
