Introduction :


Ultrasonic assisted machining superimposes rotational movement on the tool head that vibrates simultaneously at ultrasonic frequency. The tool is made of mild steel coated or bonded with diamond abrasive. Compared with ultrasonic machining, it can provide a much high material removal, deep holes, and fine precision, which leads to its further application.
