Replacement Branson 803 Ultrasonic Welding Transducer 20kHz 1500w
Description
The function of the ultrasonic transducer is to convert the input electrical power into mechanical power (ie, ultrasonic waves) and then pass it out, while consuming a small portion of the power itself.
Ultrasonic transducers, the technical problem to be solved is to design an ultrasonic transducer with a large distance and a wide frequency band.
The transducer consists of a housing, a matching layer, a piezoceramic disk transducer, a backing, an extraction cable, and a Cymbal array receiver. The piezoelectric ceramic disk transducer is made of PZT-5 piezoelectric material polarized in the thickness direction. The Cymbal array receiver consists of 8 to 16 Cymbal transducers, two metal rings and rubber gaskets. The working distance of the invention is greater than 35 m, the frequency bandwidth reaches 10 kHz, and the long-distance target moving at high speed can be detected.

Applications
Ultrasonic Converters and Ultrasonic Transducers are one in the same. There is one Ultrasonic OEM, Dukane Corporation, that uses the term Transducer. All of the other ultrasonic OEM manufactures such as Branson, Sonics and Materials, Rinco, Telesonics and Herrmann refer to these as Converters or Konverters.
Converters or Transducers all do the same thing…convert electrical energy to mechanical movement…so we have our electrical charge being introduced across the surface of the ceramics at the desired frequency which in turn gives us a movement or vibration at the working end on the converter.
