Ultrasonic Welding Structure Design of Plastic Parts
Before designing an ultrasonic welding structure, the following factors must be fully considered:
1 Type of plastic used
Different plastics have different requirements for ultrasonic welding structures. For example, semi-crystalline plastics require a sharper angle of the fuser line than amorphous plastics. In addition, semi-crystalline plastics should avoid remote soldering as much as possible, otherwise the quality of the soldering is not easily guaranteed.
2 Product size and internal structure
Ultrasonic welding requires that the product size should not be too large, the internal structure of the product must facilitate the transmission of ultrasonic welding energy from the welding head to the welding interface, and the internal structure of the product must be strong enough to resist the huge energy of ultrasonic welding.
3 Product is stressed
The size, type and direction of the force of the product determine the design and layout of the fuser.
4 Watertight requirements
If the product has watertight requirements, the fuse line needs to meet the sealing requirements.
5 Requirements for appearance
If the appearance of the product is high and the production of glue is not allowed, it is necessary to properly design the ultrasonic welding structure to avoid overflow.
