Advantages and disadvantages of ultrasonic metal welding

Ultrasonic welding of metal can minimize the temperature effect of the material (the temperature of the welding area does not cross the 50% of the relative melting temperature of the welded metal), so as not to change the metal layout, which is very suitable for welding applications in the field of electronics.



High fusion strength;

Close to cold processing, the workpiece does not anneal, no oxidation traces;

After welding, electrical conductivity is good, resistance coefficient is very low or almost zero;

Low requirements for welding metal outside, oxidation or plating can be welding;

Short welding time, no need for any flux, gas, solder.

No spark welding, environmental protection and safety.



The welded metal parts should not be too thick, welding spot should not be too large, necessary pressure.  




It is applicable for instantaneous welding of sheet, thin rod, wire, sheet, belt and other nonferrous metal materials such as copper, aluminum, tin, nickel, gold, silver, molybdenum and stainless steel, with a total thickness of 2-4mm.
